  • 150 g dark chocolate
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp molasses or sugar beet syrup
  • 2 tbsp flour

  1. While the pie crust is baking, melt the chocolate with the cream in a double boiler.
  2. Remove from heat and whisk in the brown sugar, molasses and eggs. Stir in the flour and whisk just until incorporated.
  3. Pour into the crust and bake about 10 minutes or until the filling is set at the edges but still soft in the center.
  4. Transfer to a wire rack and allow to cool completely.
