1 block tofu • 1 clove garlic • 1 onion • 2 spring onions
Cut the tofu into bite-sized pieces and press dry for a few minutes. Finely chop the garlic, onion and spring onions.1tbsp soy sauce • 1tsp salt • 1tsp sugar • 1tbsp gochugaru • 1/2 cup water
Thoroughly mix the sauce ingredients in a small bowl.3tbsp oil
Heat up the oil and fry the tofu for 7-8 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy.- Transfer the tofu to a plate while keeping the oil in the pan. Over medium high heat, fry the garlic, onion and most of the spring onion until the onion is starting to brown.
- Add the sauce and cook until thickened.
1tsp sesame oil
Add the tofu and braise until it absorbed some of the sauce. Stir in the sesame oil.sesame
Serve with sesame seeds and the rest of the spring onions.
