  • 250 g chickpeas canned
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 tbsp parsley
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 9 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • frying oil
  • salt, pepper
  1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas. Roughly chop the onion and garlic.
  2. Blend the chickpeas, onion, garlic and parsley to a paste. Add the spices and blend until thoroughly mixed.
  3. With a fork, gradually mix in the flour and finally the baking powder.
  4. Shape as desired and deep fry until golden brown and crispy.
