- Cake
- 5 eggs
- 300 g sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 350 g flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- 125 ml oil
- 175 ml fanta
- Topping
- 3 cans mandarins
- 600 g heavy cream
- 5 packets vanilla sugar
- 500 g schmand
- cinnamon optional
- sugar optional
- Pre-heat the oven to 150┬░C.
- Combine eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar and mix until foamy. Mix in flour and baking powder, then the oil and fanta.
- Spread the batter on a greased baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes. Let cool down completely.
- Whip the cream while gradually adding 3 packets vanilla sugar.
- Combine the schmand and remaining vanilla sugar. Mix in the mandarins and fold in the cream.
- Spread the mixture on the cake and refrigerate until set. Optionally sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
