  • 5 eggs
  • 300 g sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 350 g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 125 ml oil
  • 175 ml fanta
  • Topping
  • 3 cans mandarins
  • 600 g heavy cream
  • 5 packets vanilla sugar
  • 500 g schmand
  • cinnamon optional

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 150┬░C.
  2. Combine eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar and mix until foamy. Mix in flour and baking powder, then the oil and fanta.
  3. Spread the batter on a greased baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes. Let cool down completely.
  4. Whip the cream while gradually adding 3 packets vanilla sugar.
  5. Combine the schmand and remaining vanilla sugar. Mix in the mandarins and fold in the cream.
  6. Spread the mixture on the cake and refrigerate until set. Optionally sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
