- Chop the chocolate and dissolve the cornstarch in 1/2 of the milk.
- In a small saucepan, combine the rest of the milk, sugar, salt and cocoa. Bring to a simmer.
- Turn down the heat to low and add in the cornstarch mixture. Whisk until combined and let cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Add the chocolate, remove from the heat and whisk until dissolved and thickened.
- Serve with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
