- Peel the ginger, garlic and onion and core the apple.
- Roughly cut everything up and add it to a food processor together with the rest of the ingredients. Blend into a smooth sauce.
- Transfer the ribs and the sauce to a ziploc bag or a container and refrigerate for at least 4, up to 24 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 130┬░C.
- Take the ribs out of the sauce and transfer to a somewhat deep baking dish. Put a bit of sauce under and on top of the ribs, cover with tin foil and bake for 2.5 hours or until you can insert a knife without any resistance.
- Let the sauce reduce over medium-high heat for 5-10 minutes. Generously brush the ribs with the sauce and broil until the sauce is caramelized.
