  • 220 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 3/4 tsp salt

  • 150 g sugar

  • 340 g pumpkin puree
  • 120 ml oil
  • 60 ml orange juice
  • 120 g chocolate chips
  1. Pre-heat the oven to 177┬░C.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt and spices.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugars. Add the pumpkin puree, oil and orange juice.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the flour mixture and gently mix together with a rubber spatula without overworking it. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Pour into a greased or parchment lined baking tin and bake for 60-65 minutes, while covering it with tin foil after 30 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool inside the tin on a wire rack before removing.
