  • 170 g butter

  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 225 g chocolate chips
  1. Beat the butter, brown sugar and sugar until combined and creamy, about 2 minutes. Beat in the egg and vanilla.
  2. In a seperate bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, baking soda and salt. Add to the wet ingredients and beat on low until combined. Beat in the chocolate, then cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Preheat the oven to 177┬░C.
  4. Roll the dough into balls of about 1.5 tablespoons.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until barely golden brown on the edges. Cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet, then transfer to a wire rack and allow to cool completely.
