  • 227 g sourdough discard
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/8 tsp baking soda
  1. Mix everything together into a smooth batter.
  2. Lightly oil or butter a pan and heat to medium-low.
  3. Place a lightly oiled or buttered portion ring and fill with around 1/4 cup / 35g batter.
  4. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until the top looks barely wet, remove from the ring, flip and cook for another 3 minutes.
  5. Repeat and allow to cool on a wire rack if not using directly.
