  1. Pre-heat the oven to 190┬░C.
  2. Beat together the butter, sugar, salt and extracts until smooth. Mix in the flour.
  3. Scoop the dough into 2.5cm balls and place them on a baking sheet, about 2-3cm apart. Gently flatten them to about 1.5cm thickness.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges just begin to brown.
  5. With a spoon or a bottle cap, press a well into the warm cookies and ill with jam. Allow to cool completely before glazing.
  6. Whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract and corn syrup, then drizzle over the cookies.
